Do you ever just get stuck with designing new layouts? Well, hang on to your hat! I have the perfect fix for that! I have an entire shoebox full of different card templates/sketches to share with you. The first, is so simple and really helps to inspire creativity.
CARD TEMPLATE/SKETCH #1
Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored @ 4 1/4
Mat Layer. 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
Border strip mat: 1" x 4"
Strip 3/4" x 4"
Rectangles Layer 1 7/8" x 5 (x2)
Ovals from punches or dies
To make your template: Use scraps and it doesn't have to match or look beautiful; it is a tool to help you with a jump off point to create your card.
I write all the dimensions on the back of the template.
