In todays sample card, I show how you can take a basic template layout and change it up. I reversed the layout of the rectangles The focal point doesn't need to be a square; it can be any shape you want on your card. It just so happened that the image I used from a Sale-A-Bration set called Feels Like Home worked with a square image.
I used my scrap strips to create the rectangles and used my Stampin' Blends to color my focal point. If you would like to learn how to use scrap strips, I have a post here.

Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Rectangles: 1 3/4" x 4 3/4" (need two)
Focal Point: 2 3/4" x 3 1/4"
