BASIC LAYOUTS/TEMPLATE #2

Published on 27 September 2023 at 09:00

In todays sample card, I show how you can take a basic template layout and change it up.  I reversed the layout of the rectangles   The focal point doesn't need to be a square; it can be any shape you want on your card.  It just so happened that the image I used from a Sale-A-Bration set called Feels Like Home worked with a square image.

I used my scrap strips to create the rectangles and used my Stampin' Blends to color my focal point.  If you would like to learn how to use scrap strips, I have a post here.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for another Basic Layout Design.  I hope these simple layouts are helping to inspire your journey in cardmaking.

Below is the template and the measurements.
