Corner Fold Card

Published on 29 January 2024 at 09:00

Hello everyone!  I hope you had a crafty weekend.  I spent the entire weekend in my craft room prepping for Paper Pumpkin Class.   In this month's kit, I was able to triple the cards made from the kit.  It was a lot of fun coming up with the designs to use this month.  On Friday, I will show one of those alternatives.  Be sure to come back and see one of the cards made in class this week.

Todays card is an Corner Fold Card. This card is using more Sale-A-Bration items.  Sale-A-Bration items are free items earned with the purchase of $50.00 or $100.00. Softly Stippled DSP is a free item with the purchase of $50.00.

Step 1- Cutting and Scoring

On Softly Stippled DSP (4" x 5 1/4") make a mark on the Right side at 1 7/8",  cut from mark to top left.

On the flap fold DSP (2 1/8" x 4") make a mark on Front Right at 2" cut from top left to bottom right.

Fussy cut your focal point and bird for inside.

Step 2 - Assembly

Glue all the pieces to the card base as shown in pictures above.

Glue the 4" x 5 1/4" DSP on card front.

Glue the card base flap down and add the DSP to fold over piece.

Glue the fussy cut bird and branch to flap

Glue inside mat and fussy cut bird.

What did you create?  I would love to see what you are making!
